The Bureau of Elections offers training sessions to assist users with the MERTS software for Candidate Committees, Independent/Political PAC Committees, Political Party Committees and Ballot Question Committees. See training options listed below:
Please note: The MERTS software is available to State Level committees only.
Training
Online Training/MERTS User Guide: The Online Training allows users to read through the MERTS User Guide at their own pace to learn the features and functions of the MERTS software. This is not a timed session and can be started and stopped at any time. Select Online Training to begin.
Webinar Training: Our webinar trainings are live trainings over the Internet. Users are presented with information on the Michigan Campaign Finance Act as well as MERTS software training. This training gives users the opportunity to ask a Campaign Finance Analyst questions during the training session via email. If you would like to sign up for one of our upcoming Webinars please see dates available and contact the Bureau of Elections office to sign up and receive additional information.
