Welcome to the MERTS online training. At the conclusion of the training you should have a working knowledge of the MERTS Committee software for Candidate, PAC, Political Party and Ballot Question Committees. Basic features such as entering names and transactions, as well as how to print, validate, and upload information to the Internet is provided. Information on the requirements of the Michigan Campaign Finance Act can be found at www.michigan.gov/sos.
Basic working knowledge of a PC and the Windows environment is essential to complete the Online Training.
The training will take approximately one hour to complete.
At the conclusion of the training you will be able to:
- Download the software.
- Upload completed reports to the Bureau of Elections, Michigan Department of State.
